Mr. Ronnie Eugene Allen 52, of Cambridge Circle Kings Mountain, NC passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 16, 2024, at Wendover Hospice of Shelby, NC. He was born on July 21, 1971, to Betty Scott and the late Robert Thompson.
Ronnie worked at Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) in Grover, NC before he got sick. He also worked at Kings Mountain International, Advantage Lumber Company, and Travis Knit.
Ronnie had a big heart if he could help you in any way he would. Ronnie loved fishing with his fishing brothers Cory Hill and Danny Allen also known as the King of the Hill. They were always standing around talking about the next fishing hole or the big catch they just got. Ronnie had a lot of friends; he couldnโt go anywhere without someone knowing him.
Along with his father, a son Quentin McDowell, a sister Cindy Allen, a brother Randy Allen all preceded him in death.
In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish memories with fiancรฉ Gail Baker of the home daughters Anissa and Ebony McCluney; a grandson, Gabriel Tapia, Kelantra Allen of Gastonia, NC, Anastasia Allen and grandkids: Kenyin, Mya, Kennedi, Myles of Burlington, NC. granddaughter who he thought of as his own Khloe Jones of Charlotte. brothers Dub Allen (Vanessa), Jessie Allen (Daisy), Chris Lockett (Sandy), Alvin Allen, Robert Thompson; his sisters Pam Thompson, Tameshia Sutton; in-laws James and Elizabeth Ross, Daryl Baker, Jacqueline Baker, Reggie Ross (Tonya), Genene Tate (Freddie) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins to carry on his memories.
The family had a private viewing at Enloeโs Funeral Home of Shelby, NC. The memorial for Ronnie will be on his birthday July 21, 2024, at Virginia Beach (specific details will follow). Continue to keep the family in prayer for Ronnie will truly be missed.
