"When we leave this Earth, the love that we've given and receved remains behind to light the lives of those we touched--each memory a candle burning bright".
Ida, I'm wishing the family comfort knowing that Gene gave so much love to everyone. The last time I spoke to him, we sang together his favorite song, "yes Jesus loves me". That made us both feel good. He will truly be missed. Love, From Aunt Kat in Philadelphia.

To Ida and Family... Gene will always be remembered as fun loving and energetic in his own way. As children I remember all our trips to Shelby and playing with Gene. We used to chase each other around the yard. He was fast too... Rest in peace Cuz. You will be missed. From Cousin Theresa in Philadelphia...
