No way is Caveman no longer with us. The world has lost a bright, cheerful, loyal and fun loving soul. Anyone who knew Caveman does not know where to start in sharing their memories. There are so many. I meet Caveman (Sherwood) in Jr. High we were great friends for life. We had a little group of us that hung together pretty tight. Here are a few of the fellows, I am sure you know them all. Catfish (Calvin Jones), Duck (Eddy Dillingham), Perry Smith, Willard Gentry and many more. Sherwood we all miss you tremendously. Heaven is going to welcome you with open arms. You were a faithful friend. Sherwood and my brother Chip McConnell where the best of friends,he would come over to house and listen to music with chip all day all night there are a lot of memories that I remember I'm the little sister Shawn he was a good friend to my brother he will be greatly missed prayers for the family.Robert (chip) McConnell

I am so sorry for the loss of Sherwood my dad and him worked together for many years for Holman and Young construction. My dad had many good things to say about Sherwood. I know he will be missed by many.
