Obituary For Sylvia Horne
Mrs. Sylvia Annette Horne, 68, departed this life on Friday, January 16, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones as she went to her eternal home to be with the Lord. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, on May 20, 1957, to the late Leon Surratt and Betty Lindsey Surratt.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Mundy's Chapel United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The reception of family and friends will be from 1:30 until 2 p.m.

There are no words to express the loss of sweet Annette. She was very friendly and special to those that knew her. I became acquainted with her through my mom. I'd always see her at the store and she was the same each and every time. Miss Annette, your smile and your sense of confidence will be missed. May the heavens bless you and your family.
