Obituary For Terry Bess
Mr. Terry Lee Bess, 58, of Waco, NC entered into eternal life on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born on May 9, 1967, to the late Barbara Ann Bess and Robert Lee Wilson in Shelby, NC.
Terry lived a life that defined him as an avid sportsman and auto detailer. He was a father, grandfather, brother, and a man whose presence brought warmth, comfort, and steady laughter to those around him.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, the late Barbara Ann Bess and Robert Lee Wilson, whom he loved dearly and carried with him in memory throughout his life.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Kamika Bess (Lamar) of Waco, NC; sons, Joshua Bess of Waco, NC and Dillion (Christy) Daves of Boiling Springs, NC; brothers, Ricky (Sonya) Bess of Shelby, NC, Chris(Laverne) Goolsby of Clearwater, FL; his beloved grandchildren: Kaliyah (Alonso), Kayvahn, Ayden, Bryson, Kavious, Kah'Miyah, Addilyn, JaZaria, Jacoby, Joslyn, Riley, Telisha, Haiden and Hunter; special friends, Charlotte, Sharon and Karen; and a host of family and friends. Each of them brought immense joy to his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Terry will be deeply missed by his family and by all who were blessed to know him. Though his earthly journey has ended; his love, laughter, and spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who cherished him. May he rest in eternal peace.
At this time, there will be no formal service. The family plans to hold a memorial gathering in Terry's honor in the near future, where loved ones can come together to celebrate his life and legacy.
