Obituary For Tyrone Davis

Mr. Tyrone Davis departed this life to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. He was born on September 25, 1954 in Baltimore, MD to Saretha McIntosh McQueen and the late Frank Davis.

Tyrone was a member of Pentecostal Apostolic Church of Christ. He loved the Lord and loved attending church service. He also enjoyed being outdoors, being with his family and his dog.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Charles McQueen and a brother, Titus Davis.

He leaves cherished memories of him to his wife, Linda Davis; his mother, Saretha McQueen of Sandford, FL; his children, Tyrone Davis, Jr. of FL, Tara Davis of Baltimore, MD and Kenneth Ruff, Nakee Ruff, Dravis Ruff, Natasha Ruff all of Shelby, NC, his brothers, Randy Davis (Debbie) of FL and Franklin Davis, Jr. (Sharon Jackson Davis) of Baltimore, MD; nineteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; seven sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; his god-brother, Chris Martin; special friends, Al and Gloria Hayes and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Pentecostal Apostolic Church of Christ. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday.
