Yvonne Byers

Though our hearts are heavy with Yvonne's passing, we continue to pray for her sons, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and the entire family as they navigate this difficult time.

We also find comfort in knowing that on June 25, she was welcomed with open arms by the many beloved family members who had gone before her, in the presence of God Almighty, hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

We love you and miss you, Yvonne. You were my very first hair braider and one of the faithful saints who lovingly guided and encouraged us as children throughout the years. Your kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love touched not only our family but so many others in our community. Words can never fully express our gratitude for all you did. Your legacy of love and faith will remain in our hearts forever.

I was saddened to learn of Ms. Byers passing. She was an amazing educator and truly made an impact in all those that she taught. She will be deeply missed.
