Obituary For Mr. E. B Gowdy
Funeral services for Mr. E. B. Gowdy will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00AM at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cuba, AL.
Mr. Gowdy, 100, was a self-employed farmer and construction worker. He leaves to cherish his memories, a son, E. B. Gowdy, Jr. of Youngstown, OH; 3 daughters, Lula Mae Gowdy, Lula Bell Scott and Mary Louise Gowdy all of Youngstown, OH; 1 sister, Annie Marie Clayton of Meridian, MS and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Floyd and Annie Mae Eades Gowdy, 1 daughter, Hattie Mae Glover, 1 brother Frank Gowdy and 2 sisters, Mamie Nixon and Masry Lee Burton.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 4-6:00PM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Enterprise Fneral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
