Obituary For Mr. Joe Battle, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Joe Battle, Jr., will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Enterprise Funeral Home.

Mr. Battle, 88, was a military veteran in the U. S. Navy for over 19 years where he received several service medals. He has been employed at Structured Steel as a welder prior to his retirement. He was married to Dorothy Jean Battle who preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his fond memories 3 sons, Joe (Rosemary) Battle III of Decatur, MS; Roland (Tameka) Battle and Patrick Battle both of Meridian; 4 daughters, Antonia (Aubrey) Bland of King George, VA; Tracey Crawford, Tina Battle-Brown and Hope Battle (Melvin) Greer all of Meridian, MS; 1 brother, Robert Lee Battle of Webster, WI; 2 sisters, Shirley Battle and Rosalee Battle both of Jackson, MS. He also is remembered as grandfather to 15 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 6 - 7:00PM. Burial will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 1:00PM at MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Hickory, MS. Enterprise Funeral Home has been entrusted with his final arrangements.
