No funeral services have been arranged for Mr. Louis Smith, Jr. who passed on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at TREND Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Meridian, MS.

Mr. Smith, 93, an Army veteran, was a former employee with the Bordens Milk Company. He developed his passion for electrical engineering. He was an avid reader and he often shared his faith in the Lord Jesus. One of his favorite places was the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library. He was able to witness 5 generations of his bloodline. He was born to the union of Louis and Viney Spells Smith. He leaves to cherish his memories, 1 son, Reginald Smith of Meridian, MS; 1 daughter, Saundra Trotter-Miller of Atlanta, GA; 1 sister, Annie Lee Hodges of Meridian, MS and 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents,4 sisters and 1 brother, 1 son-in-law, Albert E. Miller and 1 grandson, Kevin R. Trotter.

Enterprise Funeral Home was entrusted with his final arrangements.
