Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Marie Cockrell will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00AM in Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. A. D. Lewis, Pastor will officiate.

Mrs. Cockrell, 95, was a small business entrepreneur along with her husband, the late Samuel Cockrell and the owner of Cockrell Grocery in the East End of town. She leaves to cherish her memories, 3 brothers, James Allen Franklin and William Franklin both of Chicago, IL and Davis Franklin of Greensboro, AL; 6 sisters, Lucy Starke of San Diego, CA; Lillie Cole of Birmingham, AL; Mary Hayes of New York; Evelyn Smith of San Diego, CA; Jacqueline Franklin of Chicago, IL; Janice Franklin of New York and also 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also precious to her heart for her kindness and loving caregiver, her niece, Dornia J. Thomas of Greensboro, AL.

Viewing will be held 1 hour prior to service from 10 - 11:00AM at the church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Enterprise Funeral Home has been entrusted with her final arrangements.
