It is sadness that we share that Diane Jeffries has transitioned. She passed while at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. Diane had been battling several medical ailments and fought a brave fight for her life.

Diane was born in Meridian, MS, to parents Marie and Frank Jeffries. At an early age, she moved with her mother and two older siblings to Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from Crenshaw High School and then attended San Jose State University.

Diane held several jobs, including a role as a legal assistant at a Los Angeles law firm. She was engaging, had a sense of humor, and enjoyed spending time with her longtime pet dog, Baxter. The two were inseparable for many years. She eventually left Los Angeles and moved to Jackson, where she spent the final years of her life. Diane was an avid follower of politics and enthusiastically engaged in a range of news topics.

Ms. Jeffries is survived by her brother, Leon Beauchman, and sister Angela Hasan, and eight nieces and nephews.

Enterprise Funeral Home has been entrusted with her final arrangements.
