With heartfelt condolences and prayers for the Woods & Gelsey families. Laverne was a "big Brother" in the neighborhood of Carver Ranches as I knew him through my biological brothers. They were all dear friends and one of my brothers (James) played drums for the "Hollywood Stars" many years ago. I also had the blessed shared opportunity to work alongside Mr. Woods daughter, Sophia at MHS four years ago. But most of all, through every family tragedy or loss, The Woods: Sherman, Jake, Isaac, Laverne & Darren, were staples! Their presence, support and smiles were heartfelt and hands on. Laverne will be deeply missed. ❤️My heart goes out to Ms. Gelsey, as I know she loved her Dad truly. Woods & Gelsey families you are in my thoughts and prayers.
