It is with deep sorrow that I share the passing of Damar Moore, a former student whose light touched so many lives. Damar was more than just a student—he was a source of joy, inspiration, and kindness to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence in the classroom was a gift, and his impact extended far beyond those walls.

Damar had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued. His smile could brighten the darkest day, and his spirit lifted those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and warmth that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

To his family, friends, and loved ones—please accept my deepest condolences. May you find comfort in the memories you shared and strength in the love that surrounds you.

Hi my name is Julien most of you may not know me I've only spoken to some of his cousins a couple of times and his brother but I've known Damar since middle school and every since I've met him he has changed my life. There was never a dull moment wherever he was around we were always having fun playing some games watching shows or just talking about our life experiences. It never matters what were we just didn't stop laughing or have fun, one time we had Damar laughing so loud that his brother had to turn the power off just so he could stop and go to sleep. He had told me once that only me and his mom where the few people to get him to calm down whenever he got angry because he ended doing a lot of dumb things when he was angry but I always help him through it. We had practically shared every moment we ever had with one another I never had anybody like him in my life he was practically a brother to me. Even so much so that I was going the military and the same job that he was doing just so that he wouldn't be doing anything stupid and to make less reckless decisions. He was say how much he couldn't wait for me to join and all the things we were going to do together. I had spoken to him when he went on leave for a week but then a week goes by I thought it was very odd that I didn't hear from but I didn't want to make assumptions because I was thinking there's no way something bad could happen. Then I looked at one of his old posts and I had seen rip in the comments my heart dropped I couldn't believe it was real so then I had found out what happened I was just devastated. It just pains my heart that such a good person that brought joy to so many people lives had to go because things were truly never be the same without him here. You truly never notice the difference that someone brings on till their gone.
