King of Richmond, VA; grandchildren- Travis King, Sr., Travis King, Jr., and Ellana King; sister- Virginia Patillo Smith of LaCrosse, VA; nieces- Michelle Smith (Rodney) Cook and Destiny Cook of South Hill, VA; nephews- Michael (Puddin) Smith and Quentin Smith of Henderson, NC; DeAndre Smith and Quan Smith of South Hill, VA and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.
We all need time to grieve. Quiet time for reflection to sift through the memories and come to grips with what happened. We all need time for tears, not for the ones who are now at peace in heaven, but for ourselves as we realize that things will never be the same. We all need a time to just sit so we can open ourselves to God and let the reassurance of his everlasting love start to heal our broken heart hearts. Take all the time you need to grieve. It's ok to cry and mourn, never let anyone tell you any different. Remember, even Jesus wept when he found out that Lazarus died(John 11:33-35).
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
