MRS. BETTY LEE BENNINGTON, daughter of the late Agnes Jones Corbitt and James P. Corbitt was born December 7, 1939 in Richmond, VA and went to be with her precious Lord on April 8, 2023 at her residence, Bracey, VA.
Betty is survived by Karl W. Bennington, her loving and devoted husband of 67 years. She was a wonderful mother of five children- Betty (Bill) A. Cameron, Katherine S. Bennington, Robin M. Garrett, Karl W. Bennington, Jr. and Albert (Tammy) W. Bennington. She is also survived by five siblings- Robert (Lois) C. Corbitt, Dorothy M. Sheffield, Charles A. Corbitt, Raymond (Diane) E. Corbitt and Marsha N. Murphy; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friend.
Our sweet mother loved her husband and her family dearly. She will be missed greatly; however the precious memories of her will remain in our hearts forever.
