MR. DONALD WENDELL BUGG, SR, affectionately called “Billy Boo,” was born July 18, 1967 in Mecklenburg County, VA to the late Annie Elizabeth Bugg. He departed this life October 17, 2022 at his residence, South Hill, VA.

At an early age he attended Union Meherrin RZUA Church. He attended the Mecklenburg County Public Schools.

“Billy Boo” held several jobs; lastly he worked at B & D Nursery until he became disabled.

On July 7, 2014 he was married to Cathy Minor.

In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, watching the westerns, and wrestling on the TV.

Donald leaves to cherish are: his wife- Cathy Minor Bugg, South Hill, VA; two children- Donishia Bugg, Petersburg, VA and Donald Bugg, Jr., LaCrosse, VA; two grandchildren- A’Kari Parham, Petersburg, VA and Draco Bugg, LaCrosse, VA; step-son, Joseph Meredith, Jr, and step-grand-daughter, Denise Hayes, both of South Hill, VA; six brothers- Ricky Bugg, Alberta, VA; Michael (Kathy) Bugg, Chester, VA; Saint (Tashonda) Coleman and Willie (Katrinka) Bugg, all of South Hill, VA; James Coleman, Orlando, FL; Marshall (Sherita) Merritte, Charlottesville, VA; four sisters- Iris Coleman, South Hill, VA; Carolyn (Clarence) Cook, Brodnax, VA; twin sister- Donell Boyd of the home, and Wallicia Clary, South Hill, VA; aunt- Frances Bugg, South Hill, VA; God-daughter, Sean Greene, South Hill, VA; devoted friends- Cleveland Moody, Austin “Bill” Ferguson, Leo Clary and James Tucker, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
