MR. FRANKIE LANE BASKERVILLE, son of the late James Walter and Minnie Sue Marcus Baskerville was born March 2, 1949 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia and departed this life March 3, 2025 at his residence in North Chesterfield, Virginia.
At an early age, he was baptized and joined Gethsemane Baptist Church, South Hill, VA.
Frankie was a 1967 graduate of the former East End High School. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army.
He was employed by DuPont, Richmond, VA for many years until his retirement.
In his spare time, Frankie enjoyed fishing and playing basketball. His favorite football team was them Dallas Cowboys and his favorite basketball team was the Los Angeles Lakers. He was a jokester, loved to have fun and lived for the family reunions. Frankie would help his family out in a heartbeat.
Frankie leaves to mourn: two children that were like his own and they affectionately called him “Daddy Frank”- Jessika D. Rogers and Travis L. Rogers, both of North Chesterfield, VA; four brothers- James E. (Lucille) Baskerville of Richmond, VA; George L. Baskerville of Glen Allen, VA; Walter R. (Phyllis) Baskerville of Henrico, VA and Raymond L. Baskerville of Richmond, VA; three sisters- Linda B. (William) Chavis of Glen Allen, VA; Wallicia Y. Baskerville of South Hill, VA and Serbrena L. Baskerville of Danville, VA; one aunt- Daisy Lawson of Philadelphia, PA and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Uncle Frankie, I will truly miss you! I grew up hearing you and Gina share jokes and get tickled by your infectious laughter! I will never forget the one time that I told you a joke and you laughed so hard that you cried. When I want to remember you and your unforgettable laugh, I will think of one word Pontiac!
