Obituary For George Jerry Robertson
MR. GEORGE JERRY ROBERTSON, son of the late George Julian and Daisy Mae Long Robertson, was born December 26, 1949 in Farmville, VA and departed this life March 5, 2024 in Henrico Doctors Hospital-Forest, Richmond, VA.
He attended the public schools in Farmville, VA and he did two years of college.
George received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Air Force, serving from July 9, 1970 to May 16, 1974.
He later was employed by Greensville Correctional Center, Jarratt, VA where he later became a Lieutenant.
George leaves to mourn: his children- Jennifer (Charles) Evans and Shawn Robertson, all of South Hill, VA and Melissa (Bryan) Dent of Bracey, VA; four grandchildren -Sarah Evans (Brandon) and Rosa Evans, all of South Hill, VA; Kaisley and Kyndall Jackson of Bracey, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.
