JAMES DAVID QUINN, age 65, son of the late William Quinn, departed this life in the privacy of his home in Boydton, VA on July 8, 2026. He was born on September 1, 1960 in Cabool, Missouri.

James was a 1978 graduate of Skyline High School, Urbana, Missouri. He joined the U.S. Air Force serving his country from January 9, 1979 until September 21, 1982, receiving an honorable discharge. He was self-employed as a contractor and he worked hard all his life.

In his spare time, James enjoyed being at home with his children and friends. He also loved fishing and loving on his cats. He also enjoyed household projects and helping others any chance he could.

James leaves to mourn his three children- David Quinn of Boydton, VA; Alicia and Robert Powell of Elizabeth, WV; grandchildren- Trinity Powell and Bextley Leverknight of Elizabeth, WV; Elizabeth and Charlie Jensen of Princeton, NJ and his best friend and beloved cat, “Little Bud,” and a host of other relatives and friends.
