Mr. Jeffet Oβneil Patillo, son of Mary Patillo was born September 8, 1977 in Mecklenburg County, VA and departed this life February 17, 2022 in VCU-Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, VA. He was preceded in death by a sister- Jennifer Patillo.
At an early age he was baptized and joined Pleasant Hill RZUA Church. He was a graduate of Park View Senior High School.
Jeffet was employed as a Manager for Dollar General Store for many years until he became ill.
He was married to Shanna Whitfield on April 26, 2013 and to this union three children were born.
Jeffet later joined New Purpose Ministry, Alberta, VA, under the leadership of Pastor Frazier Godfrey, Sr. where he was a Trustee.
In his spare time he enjoyed watching his favorite team, The New England Patriots play; he also loved cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Jeffet leaves to cherish are: his wife- Shanna Whitfield Patillo; three children- Trayvon, Kendra, and Aaliyah Patillo; step-son, Javontae Parham, all of the home; his mother- Mary Patillo (Charles Tisdale), LaCrosse, VA; adopted father- William Bernard Patillo (Katherine), Brodnax, VA; father-in-law, Calvin (Christine) Whitfield, Brodnax, VA; mother-in-law, Constance Russell, Richmond, VA; one sister- Samantha Patillo (William Walker), LaCrosse, VA; devoted friends- Camie Minor, Patrick McBride and Jamal Wilkins, and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Hi my name is marcus berry / patillo , I was adopted a long time ago with my sister alina ,my moms name was Jennifer O'neil patillo . I believe this man rest his soul is my Uncle .
Prayers of Comfort to the Patillo and Whitfield Families during in the days to come. I met Jeff through being his late sister, Jennifer 's teacher in Grade School. I was so sorry to hear about his illness and passing. He was always so helpful to everyone who shopped at the local Dollar General Stores, especially me.
