MR. LYNN J WALKER, son of the late Roland Walker and Alice Mayo Walker Person, was born February 15, 1935 in Mecklenburg County, VA and entered into eternal rest on February 7, 2020 at Northwest Hospital, Randallstown, MD. He was preceded in death by a son, Lynn Walker, Jr.; sisters- Shirley Walker, Elise Garnes, Sarah Lee, Mary Stigall and Lucille Coleman; brothers- Willard Walker and Saint Louis Walker.

Lynn was married to Virginia Newell and to this union two sons were born. He was a faithful member of New Solid Rock Fellowship Church, Baltimore, MD until his health failed.

Lynn received his education from the Mecklenburg County Public Schools.

For most of his adult life he lived in Baltimore, MD. Lynn worked for many years as a Security Officer at the Administration Building in Woodlawn, MD. Later he worked and retired from East Baltimore School System as a Lead Security Officer.

Lynn loved fast sport cars and he drove them as if he was a race car driver.

Lynn leaves to cherish, one son- Alvin (Debra) Walker, Queens, NY; seven grandchildren- Jelani Hill, Lynn Browning, Shawnicka Lewis, Recca Walker, Scott Browning, Keyonda Fair, Chyeese Walker; six great-grandchildren, Iya Lewis, Jordan Hill, Noel Browning, Ijalay Lewis, Ivy Lewis, and Imir Lewis; grand-daughter-in-law, Sarah Hill; one sister- Annie B. Cypress, South Hill, VA; one devoted nephew- Willie (Pee Wee) Gordon, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
