Paul Mclean Manning, 66, of South Hill, Virginia laid to eternal rest on October 10, 2021.
He was born in Spring Hope, North Carolina on October 12, 1954 to Linwood Manning and Alta Richardson Manning.
Paul received his education from the Spring Hope Public School System. He also began his walk with God while serving as a member of the church his mother and father pastored. Paul always practiced his faith, whether fellowshipping within church services or building on his personal relationship with God.
While residing in South Hill, VA, Paul began to turn his passion and love for cars into a career. He understudied Auto-Body work under an apprenticeship at Queen’s Auto-body shop. Here he developed his skills for detailing cars as well as auto restoration which continued through the years. Paul went on to earn the hearts of many while working in his craft, establishing relationships throughout.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Manning, (3) brothers- Leonard Manning, Sellie “Bernard” Manning and Deltone Manning, sister- Rosa “Sis” McAdams and loving brother-in-law, Jimmie McAdams.
Paul leaves to cherish his memory are his children- Pasha Ricks of Franklinton North Carolina, Shekima Manning-Branch and PJ Manning of South Hill, Virginia and James Manning of Hopewell, Virginia; (2) sisters- Barbara Johnson and Debbie Manning of Midlothian, VA; sister-in-law, Mary Manning, devoted nephews- Keith McAdams and Darren McAdams, (8) grandchildren and (4) great grandchildren, as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, and long standing friends including David Tatum and Don Liming.
Sincere Sympathy is extended to Shekima and PJ as well as the rest of your family. Praying that God will grant you the peace that you need at this time.
