MRS. TYWANNA YVONNE WILLIAMS FARRAR, daughter of Roselle C. Evans Tisdale was born April 14, 1961 in Mecklenburg County, VA and departed this life February 24, 2021 in Chippenham Hospital, Richmond, VA.
At an early age she was baptized and joined Pleasant Hill RZUA Church.
Tywanna received her education in the Mecklenburg County Public Schools where she graduated from Park View Senior High School, South Hill, VA where she excelled in track and field as well as other athletics.
After high school, she moved to Richmond where she was employed with various positions including Via Systems and later she worked at VCU Parking as a Fiscal Technician where she remained until her health failed.
She later became a member of the United Nations Church, Richmond, VA where she thoroughly enjoyed the Word and the fellowship.
Tywanna was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Renee Farrar; step-father- Walter R. Tisdale, Sr.; siblings- Jerry Williams and Karen Hope Tisdale; two step-brothers- Walter Tisdale, Jr., and Clarence “Son” Tisdale; three step-sisters- Edna G. Phillips, Annie Mae Jones, and Mattie T. Eason, and a devoted niece/friend- Edith Jones King.
Tywanna will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother- Roselle C. Tisdale, LaCrosse, VA; four sisters- Melanie (Tim) Kellam, Philadelphia, PA; Maccie (James) Farrar, Petersburg, VA; Mary Tisdale, North Chesterfield, VA, and Michelle Tisdale, South Hill, VA; devoted friends/family- Bishop Designant Joe Carpenter, Sr. and Mother Cheryl Carpenter, of United Nations Church; Thereatha Robinson, North Chesterfield, VA; Lloyd Jones, LaCrosse, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, children in love too numerous to name and cousins. Close friends and neighbors of Bolton Manor including James and Alnette Mayfield; devoted caregivers- Linda Thompson and Colandra “Candy” Williams, the entire staff of The Laurels of Bon Air and Johnston-Willis Hospital, and other friends.
