NANCY LEE DANIEL, daughter of the late Florence Allen and the late Thomas Lee Jones, was born May 25, 1954, in Richmond, VA. She was reared also by the late James Coleman. She departed this life May 10, 2025 at her residence in Boydton, VA.
Nancy attended Park View Senior High School and later moved to Jersey City, NJ. She attended Monumental Baptist Church.
In 1991 she moved back to Virginia. Nancy had an undeniable relationship with the Lord and attended Venture Grove Baptist Church, Bracey, VA,
Nancy had a passion for helping others and shared that compassion as a Home Health Aide for 25 years at the Mecklenburg House, from which she retired.
In her spare time, she enjoyed watching TV and gardening.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her two sons- James A. Daniel, III (Althia), Jersey City, NJ and Micheal A. Daniel, Harrisburg, PA; one sister- Juanita Coleman; three brothers- Tony, Lester and James Coleman, all of Newark, NJ; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; special friends- David Gray, Cherie Crawley, Lee Walker, Irvin Woodson, Tommy Obie, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
May the Lord comfort and keep you. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
I'm loss for words at this moment just finding out tonight that you had passed, Nancy. To the family I extend my deepest sympathy during the loss of your mother. Prayers and love to you all.
