MR. RICKIE LEON BUGG, son of the late Annie Elizabeth Bugg was born February 1, 1962 in Mecklenburg County, VA and departed this life March 14, 2023 in the Hundley Center, South Hill, VA. He was also preceded in death by his brother-Donald Bugg.

Rickie attended Park View Sr. High School. He was employed by B & D Nursery of South Hill, VA for many years and later worked in the lawn care business until he became disabled.

In his spare time he enjoyed listening to music, watching movies on TV and spending time with family and friends.

Rickie is survived by two children- Ikela Cook, Baltimore, MD and Richard M. Harris of Richmond, VA; 5 grandchildren; 4 sisters- Iris Coleman, South Hill, VA; Carolyn (Clarence) Cooke, Brodnax, VA; Donell Boyd and Wallicia Clary both of South Hill, VA; 5 brothers- Michael (Kathy) Bugg, Chester, VA; Willie Mack (Katrinka) Bugg and Saint Matthew (Tashonda) Coleman, all of South Hill, VA; Marshall (Sherita) Merritte, Charlottesville, VA and Ronnie (Bernice) Coleman, Elizabeth City, NC; aunt- Frances Rhone Bugg, South Hill, VA; devoted friends-Sherrell Duke, Charlottesville, VA and Lucy Cooke, South Hill, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
