MRS. ROBBIN PATRICIA HARRIS, daughter of the late Josephine Elizabeth Conner in Philadelphia, PA and daughter of love to the late Mary and Leo Sonny Harris, was born April 17, 1954. She received her wings on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025 at her home in Burlington, NC with her daughter, Christal, grandchildren and a few of her great-grandchildren surrounded by love.
Robbin accepted Christ at an early stage in life and she loved the Lord. She attended John Barry Elementary, Shoemaker Jr. High and Overbrook High Schools.
Robbin was married to the late Reginald Harris upon this union three children were born- Christal, Reginald Jr., who preceded her in death and Sentia Harris Hardee. We shall not forget her bonus daughter who also preceded her in death, Shauntai Dugan Harris.
Robbin was a hard worker and strong prayer warrior. She loved helping people learn; she was an excellent teacher and loved to minister to others. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a praying woman who never letting up on her faith and standing strong with no complaints when health started failing. You would ask how she was feeling and she always said “I’m feeling with my spirit.”
Early on in life Robbin was a perfect match for her husband when he needed his first kidney and without hesitation, she gave him hers. Robbin had a big heart, with an infectious smile of love. Her hobbies were football, reading, crocheting, and chess and boy was she good at it!
Robbin was blessed with three biological brothers and sister- Jimmy, Ricky and William Showell, and Audrey McGiver, whom she loved with all her being, all who preceded her in death. She was blessed to have sisters of love- Alicia-Tish; Sissy Keisha, along with Felicia and Drexel, who also preceded her in death. Deborah Richardson Parks and Muriel Talley along with being blessed with bonus brothers- Jamie Harris, Donnie Parks, Reverend Mack Talley, and Bill McGiver. Also, a special nephew- Brian Coleman, Christopher and beloved nieces- Sherrie, Andrea, Tamela, and Bryanna.
Robbin was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Robbin leaves behind to remember her: her daughters- Christal and Sentia (Ben, Sr.); grandchildren and great-grandchildren- Jonathan (Caleb, Marquez, Trinity’Skye, Eli, Egypt, Jeremiah and Phillip); Jiera Akines Hart (Julian Hart, Andrew & Jubilee); Justin; Christopher (Cameron); Ciera & Calisha Simmons (Diorah, Di’Onnah, Darrin); Aaron Harris (Ja’liya & Kacen); Reginald (Reginald Jr.); Emani (Ashton); Khameron (Emryn); Christian (Lelani); Benjamin Jr., Briyon, Hailee, Marquez, Naajia, Tiachiqua (Nevaeh); Godsons- Reverend Tyreece Barnes and Shaun Talley and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends that will miss her as well.
To all of Robbin's loved ones- I didn't know Robbin personally, but I feel like I did from all of the beautiful stories and memories that Deborah Parks has shared with me throughout the years. I know how much she loved Robbin and how special their relationship was to her. Please cherish all of your precious memories and hold onto God. She was my aunt and the sweetest person ever last time i talked to her she gave me her words of wisdom on a situation i was dealing with and told me how much she loved me . I am going to miss her very much and I pray she is back in the arms of my uncle reggie who she loved very much and also with her son my cousin little reggie Love you always and forever Aunt Robbin
From the moment I married her granddaughter Jiera, Gmom would always call me and we would have some great conversations, we would always prays together and her advise was always godly . She thought very highly of me and for that I would always cherish those memories. I'm glad I got to see you before you left this plain I hope you are at peace. Love ya girl.
