Dr. Reuben A. Bakkar

It's was a blessing and honor to know Dr. Reuben A. Bakkar. I worked with him for over 15 years and knew him for more than 25 years. He gave me my first job in healthcare and made me a manager over time and I have been in healthcare 37 years now with 25 of them as an executive. He was like family to me and my sons and an awesome mentor. He was an inspiration and supporter of my art, singing other endeavors and helped me with many life decisions and my family and I appreciated and loved this man. We did not always agree but I appreciated his trust and favor. Through working with him he connected me to many influential people and one being a patient that introduced me to a musical gospel ministry opportunity to sing that later led to me having a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My condolences to Reuben's (aka Tony) family. He and I were golf and travel buddies for many years. Tony reached out to me early in the year, we talked about getting together again for a golf outing. He will be well remembered. Hit em long and straight my friend. You will be sorely missed.
