To family and friends my deepest condolences. I had the honor, and pleasure of working with Miss Ruby at Floyd County Jail Medical Department. She was an awesome nurse, that was always teaching, and sharing her expertise as a caregiver! She also in her ministry taught me well, and impressed upon me the love and Spiritual care of the incarcerated, and never to forget them! She was always so classy and beautiful anytime you saw her. I knew her from many church functions, and gatherings, and she always made me want to do my best in serving the Lord. Mother Ruby Griffith was such a light to the Yorkville Community and beyond. She was full of fire and life. She loved her children, her food pantry, her nursing sorority, her church, and her friends. Sometimes, she would be a little abrupt with people, but that was just the way she was. She give me something to do during a dark sometime in my life. I will never forget it. I will truly miss my friend. But, she is where she always wanted to go. The place where she used to talk about in her Bible studies, at church, at the nursing home, and her many travels (She has been alot of places and has seen alot of things)-heaven...RIP Pastor Mother Ruby Griffith....love forever Bridgette Thomas and family.

From the Logan & Smith family we extend our sincere condolences and heartfelt loss of Minister, Aunt and Nurse Ruby Griffith as you will read our memories below she was the Matriarch of the family! She meant a lot to us as well as did so much with us and for us! We will never forget her.
My Aunt Ruby, not by blood, but marriage via her adopted brother's son Rev Johnnie Smith, Jr.. She was always there for us especially on day one of our son's birth ~ Nurse Ruby presented our baby to me! Some of our most precious memories are the club her grandkids, great grand nephew and neighborhood kids formed called 'Silver Shinning Stars', where they learned leadership and got to travel. Every year we celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Rockmart with Aunt Ruby and family. We were inspired by her graduations, we worked in the food pantry and ministry too. We loved her and will miss our dear Aunt Ruby immensely. Her work is done here and she has earned her wings to Rest In Peace & Paradise!
May God give comfort and strength to your hearts. — Linda Dean

To the family of the late Minister Ruby Griffith, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy. Minister Griffith was an individual that believed in reaching out to help others. She touched the lives of so many people, offering food, shelter, and kindness. She embraced life spiritually and with wisdom and courage. May God comfort you during this difficult time and beyond. She will terribly missed. Although her feet will no longer tread the grounds on this earthly side, Heaven has opened his doors for her to complete her best work ever.
