Tyeis Angelina Winters-Stubbs, lovingly known as “Blacky,” age 490, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home in the early hours of Sunday, October 5, 2025.

Tyeis was born on December 19, 1975, in Atlantic County, New Jersey, to Ronald Burrell and Princess A. Haigler. She attended the Galloway Township and Egg Harbor City Public School systems. She went on to obtain her CNA license and worked in the healthcare field for over 20 years. Later, she began a new endeavor in the manufacturing industry, concluding her corporate career at Q-Cells in Cartersville, Georgia. Throughout her career, Tyeis was admired for her skills, leadership, and accomplishments.

Following her corporate work, Tyeis embraced her entrepreneurial spirit and pursued her passion for creativity through her businesses: A Touch Above Cleaning Service LLC and T.N.T. Entertainment and Décor LLC.

Shortly after high school, Tyeis relocated to Cedartown, Georgia, where she began her journey into motherhood. She was a proud and devoted mother whose love knew no bounds. Her greatest joy was her four children and three grandchildren, into whom she poured her heart—nurturing, guiding, and celebrating them every day of her life.

After the passing of her mother, Tyeis found solace and strength in her faith, discovering the love of Christ. With that revelation, she boldly declared that “God didn’t play about her.”

In 1996, Tyeis met Tim, beginning a bond that time could never truly break. Their hearts were young and full of hope. Years later, they found their way back to each other, rekindling their love and proving that true love never fades—it simply waits for the right time to bloom again. They married on January 2, 2022. Through their union, their families blended into one, creating a beautiful household of ten children. Tyeis welcomed Tim’s family with open arms, never using the word “in-laws”—to her, it was “Sis,” “Bro,” and “Momma Bernice.”

From a young age, Tyeis possessed a remarkable gift for fashion and design. This wasn’t just a passion; it was a core part of who she was. She had a unique ability to bring color, style, and creativity into everything she touched—whether it was an outfit, her nails, a room, or a simple everyday moment. She could see beauty where others could not and loved helping people feel confident and unique through her eye for design. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, creative heart, and her direct, candid approach to life.

Tyeis is predeceased by her parents Ronald Burrell and Princess A. Haigler. She leaves to cherish her fondest memories, her father Bobby A. Haigler; her spouse Timothy Stubbs; four children, Nia Winters, Jamar Winters, Ashia Boozer, Shyquan Winters; six inherited children, Briana Key, Timothy Stubbs, Jr, TaQurius Glynn, Tyquavious Kelly, Timyus House, Timahj Stubbs; two brothers, Ronnald Winters and Maurice Solomon; three sisters, Bobbie Haigler, Paige Haigler and Danielle McKenney; three grandchildren, Kaleel King, Wynter Donaldson, Memphis “Munch” Hamilton; first nephew Ti-Jawaun “Mook” Newmones; special cousins Toby Collier, Verkara Williams, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Greater Christ Temple Rapture Preparation Cathedral, 1321 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Rome, GA 30161 at 12 Noon. The body will lie in state from 11am until the service hour. PUBLIC VIEWING will only be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 10am until 6pm at the Funeral Home.
