Mr. Walter E. Washington, age 72, of Atlanta (formerly of Centre, AL) transitioned December 1, 2025. Funeral Service for Mr. Washington will be Monday, December 8, 2o25 at 12 CST at Providence Baptist Church in Leesburg, AL. The body will lie in state from 11 CST until the funeral hour. Interment will follow the service at Providence Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 12 noon EST until 5 pm EST at the Funeral Home and one prior to the Service at the Church. The Washington family will receive friends from 3 pm EST until 5 pm on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at the Funeral Home.
