Obituary For Abraham "Abe" Gallien
OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mr. Abraham Gallien, 61, who entered eternal rest on Friday, July 4, 2025 at his residence in Houston, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Gallien’s memories are being cherished by: his mother, Vera (Vick) Morris of Opelousas, LA and bonus father, James Gerald Quebedeaux of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Tyrone Gallien (Tyece) and Cedric Gallien, both of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Jacqueline Gallien (Ronald) of Opelousas, LA; three bonus daughters; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his father, Abraham Gallien, Sr.; one brother, Michael Gallien; paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Rebecca Gallien; and maternal grandparents, George and Beatrice Fontenot Morris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ.
