OPELOUSAS - Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Alfred Victorian, 71, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery in Lawtell, LA.

Pastor James Jolivette, Sr., Pastor of Restoration Outreach Worship Center, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Victorian’s memories are being cherished by: his spouse, Cynthia Victorian of Opelousas, LA; three sons, Mark (Kimberly) Victorian and Travis Victorian, both of Opelousas, LA and Daniel (Danielle) Victorian of Carencro, LA; one daughter, Lakisha Victorian of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Wilfred (Janice) Victorian of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Laura Jane Nero (Phillip) of Lake Charles, LA and Odelia Durousseau of Mallet, LA; ten grandchildren, Keshawn Victorian, Bobby Paddio, Travon Victorian, Mark Victorian, Jr., Marques Victorian, Rafiel Victorian, Kyvin Victorian, Sole Victorian, Kierra Charles and Kyrielle Charles; one great grandson, Tre’Anthony Jones; one niece, Juanita Durosseau; one nephew, Brian Nero; brother-in-law; sisters-in-law; and a host of relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Melson and Alice Popillion Victorian; one nephew, Patrick Durousseau; one niece, Monica Nero; and brother-in-law, Kerry Durousseau.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Opelousas General Health System, Dr. Sana Ali, and the Intensive Care Unit, Dr. Jamie Collins, Complete Home Health Care, and Marquita Comeaux, RN for their exceptional and compassionate care throughout Alfred’s illness. Finally, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to our family and relatives for their unwavering support and love throughout Alfred’s journey.
