LEBEAU - Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 103 Lebeau Church Rd., Lebeau, LA for Mr. Alvin Brown affectionately known as “Lil Daddy”, 62, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at HCA Houston Heathcare Tomball in Houston, TX. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Father James P. Fallon, S.S.J. will be officiating the funeral mass.
Mr. Brown leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Alvin Ford of Mamou, LA and Joshua (Brittany) Ford of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Clarissa Thomas of Houston, TX; special friends, Carolyn Ford and Kathy Thomas; one brother, Dr. Theo Smith, Jr. of Jonesboro, GA; one sister, Mayolia Johnson of Palmetto, LA; and a host grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his father, Thomas J. Brown, Jr. and his mother, Theresa Bernard Brown Smith; one sister, Delores Johnson; maternal grandparents, Leon Bernard and Bernadette Romar Bernard; and paternal grandparents, Thomas Romar and Theresa Rideau Romar.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
