OPELOUSAS – Private viewing service for the IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Anita Malveaux, 79, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Mrs. Malveaux leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Johnny Antoine (Donical) and John Malveaux, Jr., both of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Rachel LeBlanc (Andrew) of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Earnest Antoine (Floyd) of Opelousas, LA; five sisters, Wilma Thierry (John), Joyce Joubert and Rosa L. Antoine, all of Opelousas, LA, Helen Joubert and Vera Burleigh (Charles), both of Houston, TX; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, John “JB” Malveaux, Sr.; her parents, Edward and Hester Bryant Antoine; one brother, Edward L. Antoine; and one sister, Virgie Lee Jones.
