OPELOUSAS – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Anna Bell Carmouche, 84, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in Shreveport, LA. Interment will be in Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery in Lawtell, LA.
Pastor Joseph Kirkpatrick will be officiating the funeral mass.
Mrs. Carmouche’s memories are being cherished by: her three sons, Donald Ray (Joyce) Carmouche of Lawtell, LA, Floyd Carmouche, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA and Joseph Felix (Lisa) of Breaux Bridge, LA; three daughters, Joyce Marie Carmouche of Houston, TX, Rose Robertson (Gerald) of New Iberia, LA and Pamela Ann Carmouche of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Dorothy Marie Joseph of Crowley, LA; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Floyd Carmouche, Sr.; her parents, Frank and Levarda Espree Fontenot, Sr.; two sons, Patrick Lee Carmouche, Sr. and Jerry Lee Carmouche; three brothers, Frank Fontenot, Jr., Joseph Fontenot and Lee Fontenot; and one sister, Mary Bell Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
