OPELOUSAS – A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home for Mr. Awen Carl Fontenot, 45, who entered eternal rest on Monday, August 11, 2025 at his residence in Opelousas, LA.

He is preceded in death by: his beloved grandmother, Edna Mae Fontenot; his mother, Donaleigh Fontenot; aunt Cynthia Fontenot, one son, Awen C. Fontenot, Jr.; and an uncle, Danna Fontenot.
