Obituary For Barbara Castle

MELVILLE –A Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church for Ms. Barbara Castle, 72, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA.

Ms. Castle leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Marilyn Smith (Daniel Nolan) of Melville; one brother, Michael Castle (Janet) of Opelousas; two sisters, Katie Marie Castle Robertson (Jake) of Melville, LA and Zina Joshua (Rev. Xavier) of Laurel, MS; a special student, Kendall "KJ" Marshall, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to: Jackie Abram, Nadine Robertson, and Daniel Nolan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Freddie and Elsie Green Castle; three brothers, Dave Castle, Ronald Castle, and Gregory Green.
