Obituary For Barbara Gordon-Jackson

OPELOUSAS - Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2020 at King of Glory Tabernacle, 1325 South Magnolia St., Lafayette, LA for Mrs. Barbara Gordon-Jackson, 68, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

Apostle Brenda Cherry will be officiating the memorial service.

Ms. Jackson leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Steven J. Jackson and Kobiashii J. Jackson; two daughters, Donjaleque Jackson-Riley and Rashetta J. Gaddison; one brother, James Gordon; three sisters, Fannemae Dykes, Rebecca Gordon and Gladys Gordon; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her mother, Millie Carey-Gordon and her father, Earl Gordon; five brothers, Charley Gordon, Levy Gordon, Arthur Gordon, Sr., John Gordon and Earl Gordon; and three sisters, Peral Wilson, Ruby Malveaux and Millie E. Gordon.
