BUNKIE - Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Morrow, LA for Ms. Barbara J. Martin, 68, who entered eternal rest on Friday, December 4, 2020 at her residence in Morrow, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Bishop Melvin Jackson, Pastor of Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.
Ms. Martin leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Nushawn Martin of Morrow, LA and Monica Martin of Bunkie, LA; a nephew that she raised like a son, Terrance Fontenot of Morrow, LA; three brothers, Sam Martin, Jr., Broderick Martin and Ronald Martin, all of Morrow, LA; two grandchildren, Donovin Martin-Hayes and McKinsey Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Sam and Elouise Martin and her brother, Gregory Martin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church.
