OPELOUSAS - Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Our Savior’s Church, 202 Our Savior’s Church Blvd., Opelousas, LA for Mr. Bobby Gene Ware, Jr., 49, who entered eternal rest on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA.
Apostle Derrick Zachary of Walking In Authority International Ministry in Atlanta, GA will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Ware’s memories are being cherished by: his loving wife, Lori Monique Ware of Opelousas, LA; his parents, Bobby Ware, Sr. and Anna Lee Coleman Ware; three sons, Shawn Alexander Ware (Elyouna Ledoux), Braylon Papillion and Tre’lan Papillion all of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Erica Angel Ware of Opelousas, LA and Bianca Marie Bell of Austin, TX; one brother, Travis (E’von) Ware of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Sherine Ware (Christopher Charlot) and Rastacia Johnson, both of Opelousas, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his Godfather, Jimmy Coleman, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Willie Coleman and Celestine Alexander Coleman; paternal grandparents, Vincent Chester Ware, Sr. and Evelyn Lewis Ware; father and mother-in-law, Earl and Laura Cane Robertson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Our Savior’s Church.
