OPELOUSAS β Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Curley J. Savoy, 73, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 9, 2025 in Lafayette, LA.
Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel C.O.G.I.C., will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Savoyβs memories are being cherished by: his wife, Charlene Savoy of Church Point, LA; five sons, Anthony (Connie) Fontenot of Carencro, LA, Joseph Savoy of Lake Charles, LA, Marcus Guillory, Javonta Lazaro and Bryant (Kourtney) Guidry, all of Church Point, LA; two daughters, Charlotte Batiste of Rayne, LA and Regina Savoy of Sulphur, LA; three bonus sons, Christopher Kelly, Manuel Kelly and Jermaine Kelly, both of Church Point, LA; one brother, Lionel Savoy of Church Point, LA; two sisters, Lora Savoy and Alberta Minix, both of Church Point, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Ethel Citizen Savoy and four brothers, Herman Savoy, Charles Savoy, Norman Savoy and Lonnie Savoy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
