OPELOUSAS โ A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home for Mr. Donald Ray Rubin, who entered eternal rest on Monday, May 12, 2026 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA.
Mr. Rubinโs memories are being cherished by: his two sons, Donald Rubin, Jr. and Donavon Latigue; two daughters, Lathedral Rideaux of Opelousas, LA and Martha Shakesnider; three brothers, Davis Williams of Opelousas, LA, Richard (Jenny) Rubin of Beaumont, TX and Patrick (Vanessa) Rubin of Alexandria, LA; four sisters, Linda Pickens, Debra Fontenot (Glenn) and Sheryl Rubin, all of Opelousas, LA and Shenita Mason (Charles) of Lafayette, LA, ; and a host of grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his wife, Anna Rubin; his parents, Aden and Anna Sonnier Rubin; and one sister, Judy Anderson.
