OPELOUSAS – Visitation service will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Dorothy R. Dalcour, 69, who entered eternal rest on Monday, February 1, 2021 at her residence in Lawtell, LA.

Ms. Dalcour leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Doresta Papillion of Lawtell, LA; two sons, Erick (Petrina) Dalcour of Opelousas, LA and James Dalcour, Jr. of Lawtell, LA; one daughter, Melissa Stevens (Brandon) of Opelousas, LA; three brothers, Hilton (Eula) Papillion and Bobby (Gloria) Papillion, both of Lawtell, LA and Jimmy (Annetta) Papillion of Mallet, LA; two sisters, Janice Collins (Larry) and Jeanette Bellard (Dwight), both of Lawtell, LA; four grandchildren, Erick Dalcour, Jr., Sanchia Dalcour, Brayden Stevens and Brooklynn Stevens; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her father, Victor Papillion; one daughter, Tammy Dalcour; two brothers, Peter Papillion and Ernest Papillion; and one sister, Joyce Guillory.
