Your smile and energy always lit up the room. It was an honor getting to know you and work with you.
This loss is a hard hit. The impact is widespread. I don't have the words to express how it impacts me. I will say she was a class act. She had a infectious personality, inclusive, genuine and super supportive. The word, "fantastical" belongs to her as she said it often. Prayers to all that had the privilege to meet or know her. Her impact is widespread and this loss is as well. I am grateful to have had the privilege of knowing her. She lived a purposeful life. Prayers to the family, friends and all that had the privilege to meet her. #FantasticalPerson ❤️

Lexie was my sister/daughter/friend. She was my student when she attended Southern and babysitter for my then, toddler sons. She later did an internship with me in Arts Administration at the Louisiana Division of the Arts before leaving Louisiana to ultimately moving to Chicago to continue her studies. She was part of our family and we enjoyed her visits home and calls. Especially the step by step FaceTimes to teach her easy recipes. We will never forget our Lexi. Wishing sweet memories to all her families and friends. I know you will never forget her laughter.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
