Obituary For Dwayne J. Gilbert
PORT BARRE – A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Port Barre, LA for Mr. Dwayne Joseph Gilbert, 50, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 24, 2023 in Port Barre, LA. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre, LA.
Fr. Clint Trahan, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church, will be officiating the funeral mass.
Mr. Gilbert’s memories are being cherished by: his mother, Nora Albert Gilbert of Port Barre, LA; one daughter, Khloe Gilbert of Port Barre, LA; one brother, John Gilbert of Port Barre, LA; two sisters, Hattie Mae Gilbert and Georgia Mallet (Donavain), both of Port Barre, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Gilbert.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church.
