Obituary For Evelina M. Levier

OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Evelina M. Levier, 97, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be held in St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville, LA.

Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.

Ms. Levier’s memories are being cherished by: her two sons, Spencer Levier and Patrick Levier, both of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Ida M. Levier of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Louise Thompson (Joseph) of Leonville, LA; nine grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her son, Robert Levier; her parents, Mr. Jean Levier and Evelina Henry Levier; four brothers, Adam Levier, Peter Levier, Leroy Levier and Joe Levier; and two sisters, Shauna Levier and Mable Levier King.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4,2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
