OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Frank Daniel, 75, who entered eternal rest on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Rev- Justin Arockiasamy SVD will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Daniel leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Diane Daniel of Opelousas, LA; four sons, Eddie Daniel, Jonathon (Jennifer) Watson, both of Lafayette,LA and LaShawn Watson of Opelousas, LA and Raynord (Jackie) Watson of Katy, TX; two brothers, Charles (Barbara) Mitchell of Houston, TX and Earl (Catherine) Daniel of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Emily Daniel of Opelousas, LA; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mr. Daniel is preceded in death by: his parents, Mr. Elvia and Evelina Raymond Daniel; five brothers, Marshall Daniel, Budd Daniel, Elvia Daniel Jr, Abraham Raymond, Eddie Daniel and two sisters, Juanita Daniel and Valrie Drew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m.

To Diane my Dear Sister My brother in law Frank was a very honest, kind and a hardworking man. Frank was always ready to help anybody that needed help. I could always count on Frank to show me where the best food in Opelousas because he knew I love to eat when I come home. Our family love and will truly miss having Frank at home when we go to visit y'all. Frank always brought laughter to my kids and he shared whatever he had. Diane I know you have your amazing children to lean on but your brothers and sister will always be here for you also.
