OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Gary Lemon, 71, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Opelousas General Health System – South Campus. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery. Mr. Lemon leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Margaret Lemon of Opelousas, LA; two sons, Unray Lemon of Opelousas, LA and Chris (Jamie) Lemon of Lawtell, LA; one brother, Hubert (Velma) Lemon of Orlando, FL; one sister, Patricia Lemon of McComb, LA; three grandchildren, Josh Lemon and Kaylin Savoy, both of Opelousas, LA and Rowan Lemon of Lawtell, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Nelson and Anna Lemon; two brothers, Nelson Lemon, Jr. and Gilman Lemon; and two sisters, Harriett Lemon, Hanna Schexnider and Elvina Lemon. Visitation will be observed from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2018 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA. Ford and Joseph Funeral Home, 907 N. Market St., Opelousas, LA, is in charge of arrangements.
