GOUDEAU- Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Antioch Baptist Church, 5075 Hwy 361, Goudeau, LA for Mrs. Glenda J. Heath Augustine, 58, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Houston, TX. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Rev. John Calbert, Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral services. Mrs. Augustine leaves to cherish her memories: her father, Curry (Mary) Heath of Marksville, LA; four brothers, Jessie (Pamela), Claude (Alzenia) and Marvin (Erma), all of Houston, TX and Brent (Margie) of Richmond, TX; three sisters, Diane (Malcolm) and Alma (Richard), both of Cottonport, LA and Melinda of Beaumont, TX; one grandson, Aron Ervin Leadion; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Elgar M. Heath; her daughter, Samantha Richel Augustine; her husband, Wilbert Augustine; and her nephew, Roderic Lavalais. Visitation will be observed from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Antioch Baptist Church. Ford and Joseph Funeral Home, 907 N. Market St., Opelousas, LA, is in charge of arrangements.
